REFLECTING ON REFLECTIONS  -  Anacortes, WA

The water mirrors the world above with a delicate grace. Reflections ripple, distorting reality into abstract forms and colors. Boats become mere suggestions of themselves, their shapes merging and bending in the liquid mirror.

Just as the water transforms the boats into something new and mysterious, our inner reflections often diverge from the image we project outwardly.

As winds shift and light changes, so do the reflections, ever-shifting, ever-evolving, reminding me that self-perception and the way I’m perceived in this world are fluid, changing with time and perspective. I embrace this fluidity, knowing that my true self is a blend of what lies above and below the surface.
