TIMELESSNESS - Brookings, OR
The sea and the stars were already chatting when I arrived. The rocks below tilted their arched ears and the trees leaned in to better listen. I leaned in too, trying hard to hear every shared secret, every morsel of ancient wisdom.
Together, the oceans and the cosmos have witnessed eons - storms that have raged and cleared, comets that have blazed and vanished, generations of life passing swift as sparks. They share with me this: “unmoor yourself from clocks and calendars. Long before you—and long after—the stars will rise, the tides will fall, the stones will endure. Your job is not to cling, but to marvel, to know your place as both fleeting and infinite, a spark in a story that has no end.”
While our days flicker brief as fireflies, we are part of this endless dialogue—our wonder itself a thread in the fabric of timelessness.
